Following the headphone casualty, I went into Bose to try and get a replacement headband thing. Unfortunately, Bose does not sell individual parts, so they gave me the option to replace my out-of-warranty Triport headphones with a new pair for about half price or I could upgrade and pay the difference from the concession they were giving me on the first pair.
So I went QC3.
