One of my old roommates posted a FB status update about some fleece pants where he referenced them as “trousers.”
Having seen the gems, I know that “trousers” is an appropriate categorization for that specific pair of pants, though it would not fit many other kinds of pants.
At what point do you have trousers? What about slacks? Britches?
