This evening, I went into the FB archives.
I have no idea when I actually created my account. I can find emails from FB from before December ‘05 (when I moved off my school email address), but the earliest wall post I can still see is from September 6, 2006.
While trying to figure out how far back the wall kept updates, I stumbled across quite a few random wall posts that need a lot of context that I don’t have any more. Here are 10 examples:
- “Nice looking jacket; I should spill something on it.”
- “Fifteen bucks, little man. Put that shit in my hand…”
- “I miss hating you.”
- “What are you saying about my pillow?”
- “I know you are but what am I?”
- “Ahh Tehas. I don’t suppose your flamboyant homosexuality goes over well there. Ooops! Did I just out you? Do you have anything that says dad likes leather?”
- “Don’t forget to wash the stapler first…then you can eat the jello later.”
- “How much could you bench at that age? probably only like 495lbs”
- “Yeah it took 4 months for them to upgrade the backend hardware to support it. a monolithic experience to say the least”
- “So after further research on the topic, it appears that rabbits do not have high metabolisms. In comparison to humans, the average rabbit metabolism is considerably lower.”
What’s the earliest FB post you can find on your account? What are your 10 most random FB wall excerpts?
